In response to your advertisement published in The Statesman dated 12 September 2021 inviting application from trainee journalists for a new English daily, I would like to offer myself as a candidate for the same.

As regards for my candidature, I beg to state that I am 20 years old and I passed the Madhyamik Examination scoring about 80% marks in English. I am also very efficient in computer and I am fluent in speaking and writing English.

But my father earns very little income. So, it is now being very difficult for my parents to bear my expenses.

Now under that circumstances I shall be highly obliged if you kindly grant me favour with a post for a journalist in your English daily.
