Subject: increase in the number of accidents due to indiscriminate use of mobile phones

    Sir,

I would like to express my anxiety through your esteemed daily about the increase in the number of accidents caused due to indiscriminate use of mobile phones.

It is not worthy mentioned that the influence of mobile phones upon the life of modern civilization has become infinite. It has too many good aspects upon the progress of multi class people. For its vast uses in our daily routine, we are habituated with its impact. Not a single moment of time we cannot imagine to spend our time surfing on it. Therefore wherever we go, we cannot forget by mistake to carry our mobile phones in our pocket. But the harmful effects of using the mobile phones cause when we walk on the roads or even crossing the railway tracks.

In spite of several road safety programmes, the number of accidents is on the rise and the reason behind most of them is mobile phone. People are often seen crossing roads while talking on mobile phones or with earphones on which increases the chances of accidents. However, mobile phones should not be used while driving either.

It is high time that the common people become alert and the authorities take effective remedial steps.

    Thank you!

    Yours faithfully

    Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that I am Arun Tiwary, a permanent resident of your postal circle in the village of Suvash Pally, Camac Street, Kolkata.

Due to my job interview purpose I had sent a registered letter to my uncle Mr Santosh Tiwary on December 10, 2022 vide your receipt number 2356. With that letter I had enclosed some important documents. It was urgent! But on enquiry I knew that the letter has not yet reached its destination even after two months. It seems that the letter has been lost in transit.

You are requested to look into the matter.

    Thank you.

    Yours faithfully

    Arun Tiwary
