Dear Sir/ Madam,

I, Sayon Mukherjee, the class teacher of Class XII of ABC School, would like to arrange an entertaining movie screening for my class students at your theater. Like every year this year also we have organized movie shows as a way of educational entertainment for the students on the occasion of Puja holidays. Therefore, I am writing this letter to inquire about the permission you require.

In this context it is good to say that films are very popular as a medium of education as well as entertainment and due to the visual nature of the presentation, the young mind grasps a lot of information easily. Movies provide relaxation in our busy lives and are also a great source of information. Educational movie trips are quite effective in imparting knowledge to students in an entertaining way.

Keeping the above in mind, the school authorities decided to show an informative yet entertaining film for the students. Hence the name of the film has been selected for the exhibition. The name of our selected movie is 'King Lear' written by famous English litterateur William Shakespeare.

I request you to provide information like seat capacity, refreshment menu and fare, special student package or any other information which may be useful for our cinema trip. We require your necessary information and permission to direct special educational films.
