Q. Write a letter to your friend describing a place (Shantiniketan, Birbhum, West Bengal) you have visited recently.
Dear friend,
I hope you are well. I want to tell you about a place I visited recently. The name of this place is Shantiniketan. It is in Birbhum, West Bengal.
Shantiniketan is very peaceful and beautiful. There are lots of trees and open fields. The air is fresh and clean. I visited Visva Bharati University, which was founded by Rabindranath Tagore. The campus is very peaceful and full of nature.
I also saw the famous Khoi area. The red soil and small shops looked very nice. Local people sell hand made things there. I enjoyed traveling and buying small things.
The whole place made me feel happy and relaxed. It is a great place to visit.
I hope you too will visit this place one day.
Yours lovingly,
