Bhola Grandpa and his wife lived in the western part of our village. A large bokal tree casts a shadow over their hut. A small group of monkeys lives in the Bokal tree. Bhola Grandpa and his wife had no objection.
We were coming back home from the festival on a moonlit night. The road was long and foggy. I was riding on the shoulder of the village watchman. Suddenly Bhola Grandpa sighed loudly. Everyone on our team was surprised. We stopped. It is learned that Bhola Grandpa had left his grandson to the festival. He held both the fingers of the boy tightly. He did not understand when the fingers came out. Bhola Grandpa was walking as before. Then someone asked Grandpa what he was holding. She cried remembering his grandson.
My father chose two sharp-eyed men from our group to accompany Bhola Grandpa to the festival. The grandson was found after a prolonged search. The grandson had taken shelter comfortably under the belly of a cow.
